Rahul Jain | Hypnotherapy to Help You Overcome Anxiety, Habits and Stress
Meet Rahul Jain
Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner & Founder of Reset my Mind
Many of the people who come to see me appear to be coping well on the outside.
They are professionals, business owners, or people carrying a lot of responsibility. They show up for their families, manage pressure at work and keep everything moving forward.
But internally they often feel constantly on edge.
Their mind rarely switches off. They overthink situations. Sleep can be difficult. Some have developed coping habits such as smoking or vaping to manage the pressure.
What many people eventually realise is that these patterns are not random. Often they are deeply learned responses that the mind developed earlier in life in order to cope.
My work focuses on helping people understand and gently update those patterns.
My Background
I came to this work through my own experience of stress patterns and coping habits.
Growing up, I experienced a lot of emotional pressure and instability within my school and family environments. Like many people in similar situations, I learned to stay alert, manage other people’s moods and carry stress internally.
At the time I didn’t realise how much those patterns had shaped the way my mind and nervous system responded to the world.
Like many people under long-term stress, I also developed coping habits namely recreational drugs, smoking and vaping for over twenty years. At the time it felt like relief, but over time I began to see how those habits were closely tied to deeper emotional patterns.
My interest in hypnotherapy began when I started exploring how the subconscious mind stores these survival responses.
What fascinated me most was how quickly change can happen once those patterns are understood and updated.
Today I help people work with those same patterns so they can finally feel calmer, clearer and more in control of their lives.
Who I Work With
I mainly work with adults who feel stuck in stress responses or emotional patterns they cannot seem to shift through willpower alone.
Many of my clients are:
- professionals experiencing anxiety, stress or burnout
- business owners carrying long-term pressure and responsibility
- adults who grew up in emotionally difficult environments
- British Asian men navigating cultural expectations and complex family dynamics
- people who want to free themselves from coping habits such as smoking or vaping
You do not need to have a clear label for what you are experiencing. Many clients simply feel that something in their nervous system has been stuck in “survival mode” for too long.
What I Can Help With
My work often focuses on three areas.
Anxiety and Stress Patterns
Many people live with a nervous system that is constantly preparing for something to go wrong.
This can show up as:
- anxiety or overthinking
- difficulty relaxing
- sleep problems
- feeling mentally exhausted despite functioning well externally
These patterns often began earlier in life when staying alert was necessary for emotional safety.
Difficult Upbringings and Emotional Pressure
Some adults grew up in environments where criticism, volatility or strong authority dynamics were common.
This can lead to patterns such as:
- walking on eggshells around people
- people pleasing or fear of criticism
- difficulty expressing emotions
- feeling constantly responsible for others
As a British Asian man myself, I also understand some of the cultural pressures and expectations that many South Asian men carry quietly for years.
Stress Coping Habits
Many habits are not simply about willpower.
Smoking, vaping, stress eating or other behaviours (sometime involuntary such as tics etc.) often develop as ways of regulating emotional tension.
When the underlying stress patterns change, these habits often become much easier to release.
This can work well for you if:
- You feel anxious, overwhelmed or stuck
- You have tried willpower, mindset or self-help but the issue keeps returning.
- You want to understand and work with the subconscious patterns driving the behaviour.
- You are ready to finally find your freedom
This may not work well for you if:
- You are looking for a quick fix without engaging in the process.
- You prefer purely analytical or talk-based therapy.
- You are not open to working with hypnosis or subconscious techniques.
- You are currently in crisis and require urgent medical or psychiatric support.
What Makes My Approach Different?
I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. You’re not a problem to be fixed — you’re a person with a story that deserves to be heard.
Every session is:
- Tailored to you, not based on a script or template
- Grounded in empathy — because I’ve lived the journey too
- A safe, non-judgmental space for you to heal and grow
- Designed to work with both your conscious and subconscious mind
I’m not here to talk at you. I’m here to work with you — helping you gently untangle what’s holding you back and create deep, lasting change from the inside out.
